About Ashley McBryde

McBryde found her talent after playing her father's guitar as a teenager. In 2007, she packed up and moved to Nashville, Tennessee to pursue her dreams of becoming a country singer. After independently releasing music early in her career, she gained wider attention with her EP Jalopies & Expensive Guitars, which caught the attention of country star Eric Church and helped lead to a recording contract with Warner Music Nashville. 

She broke through with the critically acclaimed album Girl Going Nowhere, and the single A Little Dive Bar in Dahlonega, which The New York Times named as one of the 54 Best Songs of 2017. Along with Rolling Stone naming it as one of the top 25 Best Country Songs.

Known for her honest songwriting and blend of country, rock, and Americana influences, McBryde has received multiple honors throughout her career, including a Grammy Award win, awards from the Country Music Association and the Academy of Country Music, and an invitation to join the Grand Ole Opry!
