...it feels as if Prass, confronting wrong with charm and sterling musicianship, is on the verge of something bigger.

Don't miss the Symphony Pop's annual Christmas concert
Swing into the holidays with Richmond Symphony Pops and the Richmond Symphony Chorus. Together with Associate Conductor Chia-Hsuan Lin the ensemble will breathe new life into classic Christmas carols, hymns and show tunes like White Christmas, Handel's Messiah, Sleigh Ride and Ding Dong Merrily On High. To top it off, they welcome special guest Natalie Prass as the evening's star soloist.
Born and raised in Richmond, Prass honed her songwriting craft in her adopted home of Nashville, Tennessee, writing for others until she launched as a fully fledged solo artist in 2009. Fusing elements of blue-eyed soul with lushly orchestrated pop, she released her self-titled debut album in 2015 to much critical acclaim. She released her sophomore effort The Future and the Past in 2018, a distinctly feminist record inspired by the 2016 Presidential election.
